Hi, I’m Henry! I’ve followed Spanish football closely for over a decade, especially the lower leagues. Studying Spanish at university as well as living there for over three years, I hope to bring a unique perspective on CD Castellón and the lower divisions of Spanish football to English-speaking readers, through news, analysis, interviews and live coverage.
I started this blog in 2022 to cover the most exciting project in Spanish football, returning historic third division side CD Castellón to LaLiga, after an absence of over 30 years. The club was bought by Canadian sports bettor Haralabos Voulgaris at the start of the 2022/2023 season, with the aim of implementing data and analytics based methods, as well as bringing the club up to modern, professional standards to enable it to compete in the top tier.
